Per le uova 3 minuti (con tuorlo non cotto troppo), per le mini omelette con le erbe aromatiche o altro. Li metto in casseruola con un po’ di acqua e coperchio, se li voglio morbide, cottura è più corta, ovviamente.

Reading the reviews, it is obvious that some people don't know kitchen basics. Here are some tips:1. Cups are larger than I expected. I was hoping to cook 6 at a time in a large pot, but it really wasn't terrible to do 4 at a time.2. You only need about an inch of water or they will tip over. Just enough water so the cup is barely floating and doesn't touch the bottom. You want the water at a simmer, not boiling violently3. Grease the cups lightly. I used butter and my fingers. I would expect that the emulsifiers in cooking spray will eventually gunk up the cups, but do as you please.4. Break one egg into each cup and season as you like (salt and pepper was perfect).5. Gently float each cup in the boiling water and cover the pot with a lid. If you don't use a lid, the top surface of the egg may be runny.6. I used an extra- large egg, cold from the fridge and cooked it for exactly 6 minutes. The size of the egg and it's temperature will impact your cooking time. Adjust your cooking time to your preference.7. Use your finger to coax each cup unto a slotted spoon and place it on a plate or a dish towel. Use a large spoon to scrape the egg out of the cup and into a bowl.8. I ordered 2 sets, so I can immediately put the next 4 cups into the simmering water and cook some more.9. Hand wash. Dishwasher detergent is too harsh and if you use the heat cycle on your machine it will eventually ruin these cups. If you are too germaphobe or lazy to hand wash, do not buy these.[10. You don't need these if you are going to use the microwave. They are not flat bottomed and will tip over. Just use a coffee cup. Also, the yolk will cook just as fast as the white, so the texture will be wrong.]Technically, these make coddled eggs, not poached. The goal is to gently cook the whites so they are not rubbery and leave the yolk slightly runny. However, you can cook them as long as you like and even make hard boiled eggs that you don't have to peel. Egg salad!

Für pochierte Eier perfekt, einfach in kochendes Wasser setzen und warten. Nur als Hinweis: Man sollte hier mit bis zu 10min Kochzeit rechnen. Das macht mir aber nichts aus.
