This is a quality laser-cut and powder-coated metal case for the Raspberry Pi 5 and Touch Display 2. The instructions are minimal, but the case is tabbed and notched to fit together well. I appreciated the extra clearance for running various accessories (HATs) on the Pi. Overall, I’m happy with the item and would recommend it if your application requires a more rugged option compared to plastic cases.

I had a monitor for a Raspberry Pi though I don't see it in the ad now, I could have sworn it stated that while it was designed for the official Touch Display, it accommodated others as well so I gave it a try. The first monitor was simply too small to fit the case. The second, while more reasonably sized for this case, did not align the mounting holes with the case so that one was a failure as well. I ended up going with a different case entirely. That said, while I'm glad to share this lesson so others can avoid the issue, I won't hold it against the rating since the claim of accepting other monitors is no longer in the description. Either I am mistaken or it was taken out in the mean time.For the case itself, it is pretty good, solid and stable. It's primarily metal and the Pi had no issue fitting in the case. There was some additional room but I don't have any headers on it. The issue I do have with the case though was that the instructions were quite limited and it took longer assembling the case than it should have.Aside from the poor instructions, there were no significant issues with the case. I didn't end up using it in the end due to the issues I mentioned but as stated earlier, I'm not holding that against it.

The quality of the metal is good, but the directions are very vague. The Touch Display 2 is necessary to assemble the case. It is not a standalone case for the Pi 5.

I have found nothing wrong with this case. It's exactly as described. You'll need your own display and Raspberry Pi. If you read the description, you shouldn't be disappointed. The belt quality is very good and it is easy to assemble.
