This flask is great keeps hot for the time it says. Well worth the money paid for like the colour.

I wanted to stop using drink bottles with black lids made from recycled electronics waste. There are so many companies that use these, it’s hard to find any that don’t.Then I found Klean Kanteen. I ordered the smaller version to see how I liked it for taking my hot tea with me to work. It’s fabulous! Although the lid is a pour-through lid, I just remove it and drink straight from the bottle. It keeps my tea hot for a long time, even without the lid on. I loved it so much, I bought this bigger 32 oz. version. It’s just as great except for one thing: I add ice to the bottle before filling it with water. When I try to drink from the bottle without the lid, after I’m about 2/3 done, the ice has all stuck together and it falls toward the mouth of the bottle, drenching me in the process. So, I have to pour through and use the cup cap to drink from. This is fine if I’m in my office or home, but when I’m on the go, It would be nice to just unscrew the lid, take a few sips, and put the lid back on without being drenched in water.I looked into the finger loop lid, and I may go that route for carrying on the go and not use ice. Having to remove the cup cap and pour on the go is not ideal. I need to see if there is a version that would enable me to be able to sip quickly without having to remove two caps.The only other bugaboo for me is that I have hand-strength issues. The polyester paint on these bottles makes it hard for me to grip, especially the bigger 32 oz. bottle. And the polyester painted ones should not go in the dishwasher even though they say dishwasher safe. I should have known better and gotten the plain stainless steel. I may trade these off to someone and get the unpainted ones. If you don’t have grip problems, this won’t be a problem for you.Overall, I am pleased to be able to have a healthier drink bottle with no black plastic. I would recommend it even with the issues I have mentioned.

Wasn’t too sure about the painted finish, thought I would prefer the brushed finish but, it’s a grower!I fill this half way ish, for about 10 minutes or so, and take just boiling water with me, I find it keeps the flask cleaner and odour free, I justtake teabags and milk capsules or 3 in one coffee sachet even earl grey tea!

Purchased it for 4 months and the heat insulation just disappeared. After filled with hot water, the outer shell feels very hot almost untouchable.
