I purchased these for a winter cocktail party. they really elevated the experience. I purchased two sets.

I love these gold rims cocktails glasses, they are even more beautiful compare to photos. Can't wait to have my first cocktails with my friends in these.

They arrived in a regular delivery box. But inside was the most amazing box. The box is huge with gold printing. Inside the box is a velvety top with black foam underneath. The glasses are then embedded in a satiny interior. The glasses themselves are simply flawless. The 4 octagonal glasses with the gold rim look vintage. They are elegant and they seem to be of high quality. These are hand-blown crystal glass which makes these further impressive. Growing up our Mom always saved the best of everything only for special occasions. Later on in life the going philosophy was to enjoy and indulge in all of life's little luxuries. The temptation is to store these away to protect them from damage. But they will be perfect for a quiet New Year's Eve at my sister's place. We will need to carry them over in their box to prevent breakage. But we will indeed enjoy these special glasses in the way that they are meant to be enjoyed. We highly recommend these glasses. Just from the pictures on Amazon, I could see these glasses had a marvelous vintage look to them. As other reviewers have mentioned, the packaging is wonderful — when mine arrived it felt like I was opening a Christmas gift: the sturdy and decorative box (also good for storage when not in use), the satin cloth in which the glasses were nestled, the thoughtful notes from the company — wow! The glasses are just the right size, the weight, the stem length, the balance of the glass in the hand, everything about them feels just right. I really like them, and so will my guests! So very pleased with this purchase.

I do have crystal glasses, both of mine and my Mom's. I don't like to use them just because they are crystal.I knew these glasses would be good before ordering them as I did do a review of GLASSIQUE CADEAU glasses before and absolutely adore them. They come well packed as you can see by my photo. The glasses are nestled in a satin fabric that has firm foam underneath. The is also a thick firm foam for the top, so breakage during transit would be very rare. This glasses were packed like I packed my crystal during moves.They have an octagonal shape that the rim is in gold. Solid glasses unlike crystal that is very delicate, so using these will be ok.They did have a film on the glasses and this is mentioned in their information that comes with the glasses. I did wash one to show how beautiful it is.The value of $49.99 is very good and I would recommend them as they will up your bar or anything you might like to use them for and they also make a wonderful gift. I would love to get this and I am finicky on my glasses that go in the bar.
