Top quality filter . Over the years I've always used genuine filters for my vehicles , but my old Honda CBX 750 is 30 years old now and the way I look at is 25 / 30 years ago the genuine original filter was probably the one to choose , but over the years filter companies / manufacturers have vastly improved the design and the filtration of their products , same with tyres , batteries , brake lines , brake pads etc , we all want what is best for our machines so I'm moving forward with technology and giving my machine the best it can have.

Just had to remove two screws from the smog device in front of the filter per the Haynes manual. This is the right filter for the 1984 Honda Magna VF700C but on my bike was a K&N 303 which is a smaller oil filter used for later years of the Honda Magna and wasn't the proper one. It appeared to have worked and I believe the reason the 303 was on there was because the prior person didn't want to unscrew the smog device but it's only two allen head screws and leave it hanging for a bit while the old filter is removed and the new one is applied with a ring of oil around the rubber part of the new filter. Combined with new Honda 10w40 oil (about 2.7 quarts) and the oil is really clean after a 20 minute ride. Very happy.

Dislike. Nothing. Nut on end aids in installion and removal , best oil, air , and filter action made ! Not cheap ,but my equipment is far more expensive. .
