Mijn astra j 1.4 Turbo 140 pk rijdt goed !!Maar miste onderin bij lage toeren de acceleratie om te versnellen als je het gaspedaal intrapt!!Nu met een k&n filter is dit echt een stuk beter geworden !!De motor luistert nu beter als je het gas pedaal intrapt !!Bij hogere toeren is het ook goed verneembaar je voelt dat de Turbo meer lucht krijgt en accelereert beduidend beter !!Het geluid daar hoor ik geen verschil in gelukkig !!Maar dat is niet erg het gaat om de prestaties !!Ik ben er zeer tevreden mee en zal bij mijn volgende auto gelijk weer een k&n filter aanschaffen en installeren !!

One of the first things that I always do when I purchase a new car is switch out the crappy factory engine air filter with a lifetime K&N engine air filter. It is one of, if not, the simplest way to immediately improve your car's performance and gas mileage. Believe me, once the K&N filter is installed, you will immediately notice better engine performance and, over time, you will see an increase in your MPGs.I used this particular filter in my 2012 Buick Verano. Like always, it was a very easy install. Some cars have metal clips that hold the air filter compartment cover in place and some, like my Verano, have metal screws. So, all I had to do was unscrew the six screws around the top of the air filter compartment, pull the top part of the compartment off, pull out the crappy, factory, paper filter and drop my K&N filter in. The top will not come completely off as it is connected to the hose that feeds the filtered clean air into the engine. The K&N filter comes oiled and ready to go right out of the package so there is no preparation for you. The red color that you see on the filter is the special K&N oil/lube. The K&N filter has a lip all the way around it and the filter protrudes out of one side. The side that protrudes out is the side that faces down into the air filter compartment so, when installed correctly, everything is flush with the top of the bottom half of the compartment. Then just place the top half of the compartment that is connected to the air hose leading into your engine back on and screw the six screws back in. They may seem tighter this time because of the nice, thick rubber seal around the new K&N filter that your factory paper filter did not have. This is good. It may require a little more umph from you to screw the six screws back in, but the seal will be nice and tight. That's it! Now you're good to go.The K&N filter may be more expensive than the crappy paper (AC Delco in my case) filter that came with your car, but it will pay for itself over time since it is a lifetime filter that you never throw away. When you buy it, it will come with instructions on when to take it out and clean it and how to clean it. It also comes with a few stickers that you can stick to the top of your air filter compartment so when you bring your car in for service, the mechanic/technician sees that there's a K&N air filter in there and they won't even bother with it, but if they do, they know not to throw it away. One sticker is just the K&N logo and the other is a stop sign and says something to the fact that it is a lifetime filter and does not void any warranties and not to remove it and if they have any questions, they can call the number on the sticker and a K&N rep will explain to them why it is a lifetime filter and why it does not void any warranties. Like I said, I've had a number of these guys over the years in my Volvo S40, Cadillac DTS, Mercedes CLS500 and now my Buick Verano and I've never had any problems with the filter or from the mechanics. They see the name and they know.

Se nota la diferencia. A régimen medio el coche va mejor y consume menos.El aumento de potencia se nota sobre todo en altas. Cuando le achuchas notas como tira más que antes y estira más las marchas.
