KNA Pickups Akoestische Gitaar Pickup (NG-2)

First pickup arrived, very loud hum. Grounding or shielding problem. Got it replaced, thanks Amazon. But the second one had the same problem. This is not usable. Bad design or fabrication. This one returned as well. Will now install a Shadow pickup, which involves some drilling and sanding, but at least they are quiet.

Simple way to convert a classic guitar to electric one.

Far better than the last piezo I had, especially with noise rejection. When I first hooked it up I did a double-take. I could’ve sworn my nearby LED lights were off because the background noise was so low but they were ON. My previous piezo picked up everything.The sound quality is just fine. Big and bold. Great bass and smooth treble. I love having a volume control. All that and no battery to deal with!.You will want to protect this pickup from getting yanked on by the cable. The kit includes a little clip to attach to your clothing. What I did was attach a short 1/8” male to 1/4” female adapter cable and fix it to the soundboard with non-marring, removable sticky tape and two tie wraps and two anchoring bases. (See the pic)That said, It remains to be seen how durable it’ll be. The old one was fragile, too, but this one, with the volume control, is taller. Probably safer to use a hard case if you’re transporting your instrument.Overall a great product and it works really well.

I use string ties, so I installed the pickup beneath the ties and fitted a clear plastic shim to give a tight fit....sound quality is super b.

Je l'ai essayé sur un ampli Marshall et en enregistrant la sortie via une interface audio sur ordinateur. Dans les deux cas j'ai été impressionné par la qualité du rendu. Il n'y avait aucun problème de feedback avec l'ampli. L'installation n'est pas difficile lors d'un changement de cordes. Le son naturel de la guitare n'est pas altéré. L'installer sans changer les cordes ne me semble cependant pas facile mais comme je le laisse en place en permanence sur la guitare ce n'est pas un problème pour moi. Si vous vous enregistrez pensez à cacheter une interface audio et éviter le branchement direct sur une jack micro. Je recommande vivement ce pickup pour les guitaristes sur classique qui souhaitent participer à des open-mics ou tout simplement s'enregistrer.

It sounds much better than much more expensive internal pickups on the market. Great discovery.
