Ons filtermediaassortiment bestaat uit speciaal behandeld papier, vliezen of meerlaagse filtermedia, afhankelijk van de specificatie en toepassing.
MAHLE papieren filters zijn gemaakt van hoogwaardige cellulosevezels geïmpregneerd met speciale harsen voor gebruik in lucht-, brandstof-, olie- en hydraulische filters.
Kunststofvezels vormen het basismateriaal voor fleeces: hoe fijner de vezel, hoe beter de retentie. De fleeces worden in lagen aangebracht, waarbij de fijnheid van de vezels en de vliesdichtheid toenemen van de vuile naar de schone kant. Dit trechtereffect zorgt voor een retentie-efficiëntie tot 99,9% met een lage stroomweerstand.
Meerlagige filtermedia worden voornamelijk geïnstalleerd in moderne dieselbrandstofinjectiesystemen. In vergelijking met conventionele papierfilters heeft de combinatie van vlies en papier een absorptievermogen tot 40% hoger.
Motorolie is permanent verontreinigd - verbrandingsresten, stof, koolstof, roet, slijtdeeltjes en condensaten versnellen de slijtage van de motoronderdelen.
Schone motorolie vermindert wrijving, koelt de motoronderdelen, beschermt tegen corrosie en sluit de verbrandingskamer af.
De oliefilters van MAHLE houden de vuildeeltjes betrouwbaar buiten. De stabiele plooigeometrie zorgt voor stabiliteit bij koude start, piekbelastingen tot 20 bar worden gecompenseerd door de hoge drukweerstand van de behuizing.

This is exactly the same filter as the BMW OEM part number11427788460 for the BMW 335d (M57 engine). Mahle produces the OEM filter for BMW, and this filter is identical to the filter that comes in the Genuine BMW parts box (the BMW sourced filter even has the Mahle OX 177/3D part number stamped right next to the BMW part #). Same part, just much less expensive. I would imagine this to be the case for all M57 equipped 335d cars (2009-2011) and X5 35d (up to 2013) vehicles, but it is up to you to check your specific vehicle via the last 7 of your VIN. I purchased a filter from the dealership and bought one of these for direct comparison, and recommend you do the same.Mahle also has a filter cross reference online that you can plug in the BMW part number (based on your VIN) to make sure you have the right filter. Many BMW dealers have online sales where you can plug in your VIN to pull up the correct BMW part number.
