The product provides multiple 20mm ‘knockouts’ on each side for conduit fittings etc. Sadly, whilst these positions are moulded in, they need drilling: they are not knockouts. A competitive product provides a hole saw for this purpose. Otherwise, quality is good and rugged. I like the lid’s screw on fixing as opposed to clamp fittings. Yup, I’d buy again but I’d treat myself to a 20mm hole saw!

The installation manual says to fit the screw caps provided after securing the box to the mounting surface but caps were not included.

I intended to use this to to keep the plug of my outdoor lights dry as the plug itself itself is too long to plug into an outdoor socket. This was the perfect size and has plenty of cable entries on it. The only problem was, when trying to push out a cable entry with a screwdriver the box cracked leaving a 4 inch crack rendering it useless. I went to screwfix and bought the same size box, better brand for cheaper and I'm now using that instead.

Needed a large weatherproof box to lose a transformer in for my new pond lights.Seems OK.Looks decent quality as well 👌
