I own many Knipex pliers and was looking for a smaller pair to carry around for ever day carry. In my opinion, these are the best compromise of size and usefulness for my situation. The 250mm version of this item, while able to handle just about any task, is far too big to be carried daily. Inversely, the pliers below 180mm are not as practical to use in many situations. These pliers hit the sweet spot. Very happy I went with these pliers.

Immediately feel the difference, when using two similar pliers from two brands together , and found Knipex is easier to grip and the jaws have lesser play.So decided to buy another to work as a pair
