Splurged on this purchase for a high quality cable knife from Knipex. Found it to be well made with an easy to hold secure handle. Up to recent I had used box cutters, but that is tricky and can slip and cut you potentially. Arrived from Amazon without any packing at all, but appears to be new. Blade was thick and sharp. Plastic extension over blade back is nice and easy on your fingers. Nice product.

I’m in the heating and air business and work constantly around live circuits. These put me a little more at ease as it protects you against 1000 volts of electricity. I am now a huge fan of this German brand. I’ve bought so many of these tools replacing my old ones. I use these daily.
