These are lovely needles to use and I highly recommend them.I've just started a project using chunky yarn so I've had to purchase a whole new set of larger needles. Initially,I bought some of my favourite ' Pony ' brand,but found that the acrylic yarn was really dragging on the needles; there was no way I could continue knitting a large garment like that.I'd already bought a pair of 5mm needles in this brand and am pleased with them,so bought these 6mm ones.The yarn glides across the needles so much more easily.They are nice and long too.I also like the colour coding.They cost a little more than I'm used to paying for a set of needles,but I'm hoping that they'll be worth it in the long run and that they last well.
