I have a number of different KnitPro needles, and even those these are Basix I think they are really really good. To me, they feel sturdier than Symphonies' just without the fancy pattern on them. The wood is very smooth and sleek and knitting goes really quickly, maybe not as quick as on metal Nova type needles but still really quick and it can even be a bonus for some people who find metal needles too slippery. The joints between the cord and the needles are nice and smooth, so don't slow down knitting and the quality of the cord is the same as on any other KnitPro needle - flexible and easy to manoeuvre. All in all, great needle at a great price!
