I liked the concept of the bell, but the spring almost instantly started rusting. After a couple of months the spring became too brittle and the bell stopped working.Amazon gave me a refund. I also contacted Knog, and they told me that the bell should not be left outside...

This bell looks great, and it's small, sleek, making it especially suitable for mountain and race bikes, and that's the reason for 2 stars rather than 1. The older (more flattened) version of this bell worked fine, but this newer type of the Knog Oi Classic is absolute rubbish. The sound is far too soft, and often the trigger fails to even hit the metal bell part. After one day of use the spring was bent to such a degree that making a sound was hit or miss with a 50/50 ratio. The trigger needs to be secures with a small axle or something, but here the spring has the load to bear and keeping the trigger in place. That doesn't work out. Avoid, especially at €20+

This bicycle bell has a nice loud ring to it but it has a low profile on your handlebar so it's not obstructive in any way. It's made in Australia and looks very modern and cool. Be wary of knockoffs and get the real Oi bell!

He tenido varios y todos han resultado muy frágiles. Lo mejor de éste es su tamaño (tengo una All-Mountain y voy por el bosque, no quiero un timbre grande para cuando voy por zonas urbanas) y se le ve una calidad de construcción muy distinta a los otros. El precio también es diferente, pero creo que merece la pena. Sonoridad razonablemente buena para lo pequeño que es.
