Wir in Deutschland haben ja bekanntlich eins der saubersten und am besten kontrollierten Trinkwasser der Welt. Im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit gebietet es sich also eigentlich, auf den Kauf von abgepacktem "Mineralwasser" zu verzichten, da dieses, entgegen der tollen Marketingversprechen, keinen wirklichen lebensmittelchemischen Mehrwert bietet. Stiftung Warentest bestätigt dies ja auch des öfteren. Blöd nur, wenn die gute alte Rohrperle aus der heimischen Leitung so schmeckt, wie sich ein Tritt ins Gesicht wohl anfühlen muss. Abhilfe dagegen schaffen Filtersysteme wie dieses von Brita. Hartes Leitungswasser schmeckt gefiltert genauso weich, wie gekaufte Mineralwasser. Die Kanne, in der der Filter sitzt, ist gut verarbeitet und funktioniert ebenso gut: sie lässt sich leicht befüllen und tropft nicht beim ausgießen. Gut aussehen tut sie darüber hinaus auch aber das ist ja geschmackssache. Unseren Geschmack hat der Brita Wasserfilter jedenfalls getroffen.

Questa è la versione aggiornata della già famosissima caraffa Brita con la quale condivide ovviamente i filtri. In questa versione aggiornata sono state migliorate diverse cose:1- l'indicatore dello stato del filtro (che era ed è un semplice timer che ricorda di cambiare filtro una volta al mese) è passato dall'essere un indicatore batteria con 4 tacche, a un puntino luminoso che può essere verde, arancione o rosso e rimane spento se non quando incliniamo la caraffa per versare l'acqua (molto comodo) o quando premiamo il pallino stesso, tutto questo dovrebbe consentire un risparmio della batteria che in teoria morirà decisamente dopo la morte della caraffa.2- forme affinate in diversi modi: presa più comoda e salda dal manico, e versare l'acqua evitando di mancare il bersaglio adesso è molto più semplice grazie alla diversa forma del becco della brocca.3- ogni volta che andavamo ad effettuare il cambio del filtro nella vecchia versione, il corpo in plastica dove si inserisce il filtro era asimmetrico e quindi doveva essere posizionato correttamente (non molto intuitivo) e se posizionato male si incastrava ed era difficile estrarlo. Adesso invece è stato cambiato e reso simmetrico e questo garantisce la riuscita del cambio filtro senza intoppi.4- la parte in plastica che è da tenere alzata per consentire l'immissione dell'acqua da filtrare, in passato era da tenere alzata con il pollice, mentre adesso una volta tirata tutta indietro sempre con il pollice, rimane fissata nella posizione di massima apertura rendendo il tutto molto più comodo.In conclusione molto è cambiato e solo migliorie sono state apportate, il resto è la solita eccellente caraffa brita ormai indispensabile in ogni casa. Super consigliata!

I have used these water filter jugs for years now, as living in the South West of England our water is extremely hard and tastes strongly of chlorine. The filter reduces limescale, certain herbicides, pesticides and pharmaceuticals as well as taste-impairing chlorine and lead and copper metals. I certainly notice a difference if I use water straight from the tap, lime scale returns to my kettle within 2-3 uses but using water from the Brita jug I very rarely need to descale my kettle, coffee machine etc. Another plus is it saves me a fortune buying water in bottles from the shops and you're reducing plastic waste having no plastic bottles to dispose of. It has also meant that the life of my kettles and coffee machines has been extended due to the removal of most of the limescale and no need to descale so much. This new style jug is an improvement on the old style in that you can pour out filtered water from the bottom of the jug without contaminating it with water over-flowing from the top section which is yet to pass through the filter. The new light on top which tells you when to change the filter is removeable which means you can completely clean all parts of the lid, jug in water.The handle design makes it comfortable to hold when pouring and the new flip lid shape makes it easy to open to fill with water especially if you have issues using your hands. A good basic, no bells or whistles product which does what it advertises.
