KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH a.s. is een van de wereldleiders in de productie en distributie van eersteklas briefpapier voor kunstenaars, scholen en kantoren. Het bedrijf is lid van de KOH-I-NOOR holding a.s. Group. Het bedrijf werd opgericht door Josef Hardtmuth in 1790 in Wenen, maar de productie van grafietlood werd in 1848 verplaatst naar Česke Budějovice. In de loop van de tijd wisten de KOH-I-NOOR potloden op een aantal wereldtentoonstellingen groot succes te boeken. De producten werden op vele wereldtentoonstellingen toegekend om er maar een paar te noemen, 1855 in New York, 1856, 1900 en 1925 in Parijs, 1862 in Londen, 1882 in Wenen en 1905 in Milaan.

I bought a Kaweko SketchUp 5.6 with the eraser fill for a really good price, so I had to find some lead for it. I ordered some of these (in 2b) because they were one of the only refills available. I'm not disappointed! First of all, they are nice and long, so I actually broke the lead in half in order for it to fit my pen. For 2b, they are surprisingly hard and will likely last a long time. They arrived to Canada fairly quickly and they were packed with padding, so none of them were broken. They are also a fair price.This will only apply to you if you have the same pencil body (the Kaweko SketchUp 5.6), but at first they didn't fit well. They were a touch too wide. However, I took some pliers, wrapped them in soft tape, and bent the jaws of the pencil out just a little. It was a simple fix. They now fit perfectly!
