Great mirror

Lovely mirror, perfect being able to move around. A little heavy but I love the size.

This adaptable, large full-length mirror looks okay. Serves its purpose. Packaging needs improvement.Finally, what we have here is a good-sized mirror; yet compact.The plasticky outer frame and embellishments in the 'antique-look' derivative that I ordered is less-noticeably plastic from a distance, and the overall appearance is fine (or will be forgotten) once placed.With the 'shorter than expected' pull-out stand extended outwards, it manages-to stand upright by itself in a reasonably small space, indeed. It does feel a little unstable upon a wood floor, but sits a little better on carpet or a rug. This possibly needs wall-mounting if you’re worried about-it getting knocked or falling, and there’s a pair of mounts pre-installed for that purpose, plus wall-fixings, too.You have-to attach the ‘finishing’ top-piece yourself, as it would break during transit if it was attached in the box. It’s only a couple of screws, and there’s a tool within the packaging; as pictured.I would say that the as there’s so much writing on the box ‘warning’ people transporting this item, that this is a mirror; that there wasn’t just a little more protection actually ‘surrounding’ the outer frame, to prevent-it from scratching itself, as mine appears-to have done before I even took it out-of-the-box.I mean, aside from limited tape attached to the outer box ,(to obviously keep the box together) there’s been ‘no tape’ been applied anywhere internally; and upon opening the box, it had clearly all moved.The box is formed by two pieces of strong cardboard, and some thicker full-length mirror foam just resting on the main part of the mirror.There is some hard foam on the outer edge of one piece of the main cardboard box; but then just a thin piece of polythene merely draped around the outer-frame, and a couple of corner cardboard pieces, which had all moved during transit because there was ‘nothing’ to hold anything in-place.The result was some random scratch and dent marks; for which some people may consider returning the product if it arrives in this condition, depending upon the severity and the placement of this unnecessary damage. Both for environmental and financial reasons; I’d have at-least placed a ‘touch’ of tape to try and prevent any potential unnecessary returns or refunds.Anyway, the main mirror ‘front’ appears to be fine, and that’s the most important factor here.It looks fine from a distance; and anywhere that you cannot see the back of this item, because that’s not pretty, at all.You can lean-it against a wall, place-it anywhere on the floor using the in-built stand; or as already stated, mount-it on a wall using the pre-installed rear hooks, as the wall fixings are also included for this to become a very adaptable mirror for you.Now, you can get just as tall, but wider mirrors for around the same price or a bit less; so, it really comes down-to your own personal style and current design décor, as to whether you purchase this mirror or not.As I say, if you don’t look to closely, (and are shielded from the back of this mirror at all times) then I think that it looks fine.

This mirror is absolutely gorgeous—tall, clear, and the vintage engraving gives it a classy, antique feel. It’s sturdy and shatterproof, which is a big plus. Perfect for adding charm to a bedroom or hallway!
