Rig tubing is absolutely essential when fishing in snaggy areas and for the protection of carp scales against your mainline. The Korda tungsten tubing also has submersible properties that keeps your line on the deck. You only need tubing that is slightly longer than your actual rig if you're using it for anti tangle properties only but I like to use a good 18-20inches.

I know Korda is more expensive but it’s better. Heavy tubing, I use 12 inches for carp fishing and it sits nicely on the bottom. Make sure you use the colour which suits the colour of the bottom.
