Because it is coated on both sides, I can flip it over as required, which could extend its lifespan.🔥 I also have a similar mat that I’ve used directly on grass. In comparison, this one lacks the silvered, reflective underside that helps shield the ground from heat. That reflective surface makes a difference when using it on a lawn, and I’d be less confident using this mat on grass for longer cooking sessions. For gravel or paving, though, it performs well enough.🔥 The lack of technical detail in the listing made the decision to buy more difficult than it should have been. Das Produkt ist gut, es verspricht allerdings ein bisschen mehr, als es halten kann. Ohne einen gewissen Abstand der Feuerschale zum Boden wird der Rasen beschädigt.

Diese Matte wird mit einer Stärke von 6mm beworben und auch auf den Bildern wird suggeriert, es ist eine dicke Matte. Wie auf dem Foto zu sehen, wird diese zusammengefaltet geliefert und ist ca. so dick wie eine Dauerbackmatte.Das Produkt ist eine Frechheit und sollte hier nicht verkauft werden!Natürlich wird es sofort zurückgeschickt.

Justo me ha llegado esta mañana y estábamos preparando la barbacoa así que ha sido llegar y estrenar por lo que puedo asegurar que la alfombra/estera cumple con su cometido que es el proteger el suelo (césped, jardín, etc…) de lo que pueda caer o salpicar de la barbacoa, sobre todo de tener sustos si cae carbón o algo que pueda prender.La alfombra en sí es muy fina pero es sólida y pesada, no se mueve una vez la colocas.El mantenimiento ha sido muy sencillo, le hemos pasado el mocho con Fairy, la hemos dejado secar, se ha doblado y de nuevo a la bolsa hasta el próximo uso.La bolsa de plástico en la que se envía es tipo zip así que merece la pena guardarla y usarla como estuche de la alfombra que, al venir tan doblada, es fácil recogerla siguiendo el mismo patrón y que vuelva a encajar fácilmente en la bolsa.En nuestro caso escogimos la alfombra más grande, tamaño XXL (190x91cms), y ha quedado perfecta para cubrir la barbacoa y un poco alrededor.La alfombra es una estructura de 3 capas cada una dirigida a proteger contra incendios y en conjunto puede soportar hasta 1000ºC y las capas se dividen así:1ra capa – Papel de aluminio de fibra de vidrio2a capa – Fibra de vidrio3a capa – Revestimiento de silicona resistente al fuegoEn resumen, si tienes barbacoa, sea de obra o no, es un producto a tener en cuenta, sobre todo para el mantenimiento de la zona aledaña a la barbacoa y por el precio que tiene, merece mucho la compra (en el momento de escribir la reseña el precio es de 29.99€ + 20% de descuento con entrega en 48h)
