I bought this product in July. In the beginning of January, it started overflowing hot water. In March, it was beeping without boiling the eggs, in fact, although the water it was supposed to use for boiling eggs was all in the plate. Because the return period is over, I tried to use as much as possible. Maximum you can use is 6 months. I wish I did not buy it.

Really recommend keeping the box to be able to send this item back in case it is needed. I’ve cooked eggs about 4 times and after that it went terrible, when cooking the water leaks out everywhere - the eggs are never fully cooked no matter what type of water measurement is used. Really disappointed in this purchase.

Simpele eierkoker, werkt snel en is simpel in gebruik. Jammer dat er een buzzer van een Soviet gevangenisdeur op zit, had liever een pieptoon gehad.

Vanaf het begin werkt ie niet goed. Nu helemaal stuk na een paar keer gebruiken.

As soon as the water boils it is coming out on all sides. it is a real disappointment. it's also leaking over the on-off switch,, safety?? all together a disaster and wasted money.

This egg boiler has a very small footprint on any cupboard. It looks great, very light in weight and a quick silent boil of eggs. Well made to a high standard. Krups is No:1.

J'ai testé plusieurs marques... et là j'ai enfin trouvé le bon !- très peu encombrant, il trouve sa place sur mon plan de travail sans avoir à le ranger/sortir à chaque fois, le verseur se range à l'intérieur du cuiseur donc aucun accessoire à trainer et pas de risque de le perdre- efficace, les oeufs sont cuits pile poil comme choisi (mou/moyen/dur). pour choisir il faut juste suivre les marques sur la verseuse et mettre la quantité d'eau demandée : la quantité d'eau indiquée donne automatiquement la bonne cuison.- simple : percer les oeufs (il y a une pique sous la verseuse qui perce parfaitement et sans risque), verser l'eau, appuyer sur le bouton, attendre et voilà- sonnerie de fin de cuisson : tellement forte et affreuse qu'on se dépeche d'accourir pour l'arreter, impossible de la rater- facile à nettoyer : les pièces amovibles passent au lave vaisselle si besoin et le fond est antidérapant donc se lave facilement. Au fil du temps du calcaire se forme (à cause de l'eau + les coquilles !) mais un peu vinaigre dans la cuve et en 5min d'attente c'est neuf !Le plaisir des oeufs durs ou mollet, sans la casserole, sans chronomètre et sans surveillance !

After reading the positive reviews for this item and seeing that everyone got a UK adapter in the box, I decided to order. It took a long time to arrive as the seller has only used part of my address on the box. Not a good start. Then I opened the box: no adapter. I emailed the seller whose response was to send me a link to purchase an adapter. The chances of me wanting to wait again for a badly addressed box with a part that legally should have been supplied are nil. I ordered an adapter from another Amazon seller and finally got the chance to try out the egg boiler today. It cooks eggs beautifully ! I set it to cook 2 eggs on medium, as I hate runny whites but love runny yolks. They were perfect. The buzzer is loud so you really can not miss the fact the cooking time has finished. Easy to set up, a doddle to use and takes seconds to clean.My advice is to purchase this but look very carefully at the seller offering it. Some on the current list do mention that they send with an adapter. If in doubt, ask or be prepared to purchase an adapter. It is illegal in the UK to supply without a UK plug or an adapter that can not be opened without tools. I am happy to use a proper adapter, whether it can be opened with or without tools, but some sellers are flouting the law. Be aware.
