Krups FDK 451 Sandwichmaker voor Gegrilde Tosti's in Driehoekige Vorm, 850 W, Zwart

Simply this is the best sandwich maker I’ve had. It is robust, non stick, high quality and reliable.

We were very pleased with this sandwich maker, however after almost 3 years I see that the non-stick coating is coming off very quickly. Small pieces of coating come off even when you just run your fingernail along it. As you can see in the photo, the family has already ingested quite a bit of coating via the sandwiches. This does not seem OK to me, for a premium brand. Our previous Tefal iron is many years older and still does not suffer from this. The sharp corners of the Krups with the triangles probably do not help here. Hopefully the other shapes are less affected.

Just like simple design this product just works like simple toaster not trying to do too many things.It does the one thing and doest that best.
