Long story short, the only two ways for a thief to steal your bike when secured with this lock are:- Go through ~2 minutes of cutting both bars with an angle grinder (not exactly a stealth procedure, and they will probably hear the noise from 2 blocks away)- Pick the disc detainer core (which is incredibly hard and definitely above the skill level of the average bike thief)

I am very happy with this lock it's exactly what it said it would be. It does weight a bit but would be extremely hard to get open or even cut through. It also has a double shackle so you would have to cut through both sides. It arrived in great shape. There is lock lube on the inside shackles. I'm very pleased. Thanks. I will upload pics when I find a clear background

Candado tipu "U" realmente sólido...y muy pesado. Pero claro, seguridad y ligereza no suelen ir muy unidas. Al menos para mi bicicleta (una Tucano Hide Bike plegable), hubiera sido de agradecer un poco más de anchura entre las dos barras, pero en una bici con cuadro normal, no debería presentar problema. Está totalmente recubierto de goma evitando cualquier rayada.Viene con tres llaves tipo "ABLOY" que ofrece mayor seguridad que las clásicas de sierra que traen otros candados.Al menos, de entrada, muy recomendable.

Känner mig lite säkrare med detta lås, hade hellre köpt ett hiplock d1000 men dom är dyra och korta. Det är förbannat tungt och otympligt men gör sitt jobb. Bra längd. Använder det på min ebike

It is the best U-Lock on the market BUT the $5,000 anti-theft protection plan isn't available in Australia. This needs to be updated on the packaging because it's not offered in Australia.
