When I was at secondary school we had a teacher called Mr Gillespie, a Scotsman very like the character Mr Mackay from the TV series Porridge, who during detention liked to set 100 lines writing about objects such as eggs or a pen. At the time I used to question what I was gaining from this exercise other than the clear punishment for some misdemeanour. But I can see now Mr Gillespie had foresight, and he clearly could see a time when we would all be required to write reviews on everyday objects we purchase. So writing about an Allen key requires me to draw on all of my depth of experience from those days, but here goes.This Allen key size 14mm came well packaged and like all Allen keys is hexagonal and bent, made of a strong unconfirmed metal of a dark hue, it will serve its purpose well, which is to lock/unlock the the hatch to my Fosse Septique (septic tank), and while this will always be a task I am unlikely to look forward to, I know this key won’t let me down. As Allen keys go this is top of the range, certainly in the top three Allen keys I have purchased, but maybe even no 1 due to its size alone. The key is available in a variety of sizes but for me the 14 mm is the best.
