Bought this instead of a detachable showerhead (the ones that are supposed to fit on the end of a bathroom/kitchen tap). My mum can't go to the local hairdresser so they are going to come to us and this will work for rinsing shampoo, etc. over the sink. It's small, so easy to store and the amount of water that comes out of it is like a shower rose. I think it will work well.29/8/24: have now used this and it works well. Had to fill 3 x 1.25 litre bottles as it took 2.5 bottles to rinse conditioner out of very short hair. You do have to squeeze harder when there is less water in the bottle but overall, worked fine. I don't think it would work if you used a bigger bottle that was difficult to squeeze with one hand. It might be difficult to use if you have arthritis and can't squeeze a bottle with one hand (while using the other hand to rinse whatever you are rinsing). Alternatively, you could have one person squeeze the bottle to rinse while another person helps wash whatever you are washing. I would still recommend.
