Absolutely wonderful device! While many switches require all cables to be connected (HDMI & USB), needed or not, this little nifty gizmo provided exactly what I needed with HDMI cables only: a simple set up to allow switching a monitor between a pc and laptop. Can't complain about the 1-2 secs it takes to switch from one to another - it takes me way longer to unplug and replug (since I have 3 laptops and 1 pc with 6 screens for work). Love this device and I found it mind boggling for this price to get the switch with a light indicator plus cables. Would definitely recommend!

Overall I'm satisfied. I upgraded my secondary, external monitor to a Dell U2723QE, and my old KVM switch didn't work with it because the monitor needed something that could drive 8K. I could sort of get the new monitor to work, but I still had to reach around back to switch between computers. So I got this, and bottom-line is it works. Like with my old KVM switch, I have a nice button within easy reach on my desk that I can push to switch computers. The KVM switch itself is hidden out of sight, hanging off the back of my desk.One problem, as at least one other person has noted, is that the unit doesn't maintain a signal to the inactive computer and acts as if the monitor has been disconnected. That means that when I am using the other computer, all the windows on my first computer get moved over from the secondary, external display to its primary display. Most of the time when I switch back, the computers (both Macs) rearrange the windows back to the primary and secondary monitors, but in the past, with other setups, the window rearrangement hasn't been perfect, so I'm waiting for such to happen with this KVM switch.The other problem, perhaps related, is that switching between computers is much slower than my old KVM switch. It probably arises from the switch internally disconnecting the HDMI signals, forcing the monitor to search for a signal from the HDMI port even though the physical port hasn't been changed or switched for another port.

I use this to share one monitor, keyboard, and mouse between a Windows 7 and a Windows 11 Pro computer. It works. A little delay at first to get the keyboard to work with both computers but it eventually worked. Cable management is a little difficult since the HDMI cables are stiff and cause the actual switch component to rise off of the desk at an angle. I will eventually work out a way to mount the switch so all of the cables are more manageable. The main thing is that this works as it was designed for.

I purchased this to replace two separate KVMs (one for USB-C used for the display port adapter, and the other USB accessories). I decided to revert to HDMI because of the hassle trying to convert USB-C to display port. Right out of the box, this came with good hearty cables. First connection worked perfectly, and I didn't need the optional power cable (powered with a USB connector.When powering up the second computer, the KVM automatically switches to it. When shutting it down, it automatically reverts to the first computer. I am using a 4K 120Hz monitor and it seems to be reliable and intuitive.I recommend this, especially due to the low price and how easy it was to get it to work.

Very easy to use and it does a great job. I have one monitor hooked up to it and a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I switch very easily between my laptop and my PC. Very happy so far.
