I recently replaced my dying Sony WF1000XM4 earbuds with the Sony Linkbuds S. They are awesome and actually superior in many ways to the XM4. I wanted to protect the white case and ordered this “kwmobile Earphones Case Compatible with Sony Linkbuds S - Crystal TPU Two-Part Earbuds Case – Transparent”..I was skeptical as I have an aftermarket silicone case for my Airpods. It is loose-fitting and the top half keeps flopping off the case. Originally, it was a nice tight fit! When I found this TPU case cover, I had some hope though, being familiar with TPU ear tips. I knew the material was a little stiffer..The inner surface has some dimpling. I think this allows the fit to be tighter to the case as the dimples (actually pips) can compress locally and be tight without being impossible to fit. The photos show the dimpling more than can be seen in real life. They are actually invisible to the naked eye. The fit is awesome. Push the cover on and it stays put.It’s a perfect fit with very high tolerances. The gap between the top and bottom halves on the case is tiny. The cutout around the USB port is well centered. There is no cutout for the pairing button. You just press firmly in that area to actuate the button. The hinge cutout seems overly large on the back but it is necessary to allow the top to fully open. Again, the cutout is just the perfect minimum size for opening the lid..You can gently remove the TPU cover by keeping the lid closed and gently pushing on the cover’s exposed edges around the hinge area. It’s not easy, but it is doable. You won’t want to do this too often, if at all, to avoid possibly breaking the case hinge. Slow and gentle is the key..The TPU material is stiff and does not flex and stretch easily like silicone. I typically don’t use a carabiner. So, the loop might actually be an annoying protrusion in my pocket. The carabiner loop is very rigid and does not bend at all. The case provides great protection, though not quite as shock-absorbing as silicone. However, silicone isn’t usually very thick. This case is 2mm thick. So, they are likely comparable for drops. The cover is clear but has a slight cloudiness to it..CONCLUSION:.I am impressed! I doubt I’ll ever go back to silicone cases for my earbuds. This TPU case fits like a glove. It keeps its shape and stays in place. It has just enough grip in the hand, though not as much as silicone but it doesn’t attract dust and lint in the pocket. This TPU cover is far superior to my silicone Airpods case cover and well worth $11..I highly recommend this product!

This is a completely useless piece of plastic. It doesn't fit and even if it did it won't hold itself together.
