Fonctionne très bien.Dommage qu'il n'y a pas une vitre pour protéger l'aiguille, j'ai peur que à l'usage ce ne soit un peu fragile.

The first one I bought did not measure at all. I returned it. This one seems to measure close to the actual temperature, but if you leave 5 minutes in a bottle inside an ice and water bucket, the thermometer reading does not change while the bottle cools. Also, it does not go above 18 C, but Brunello is best served around 19, and it is too short to measure once you have reached the middle of the bottle. My buddy who has a typical eyesight of an older person, could not even read the small numbers. In short, a pretentious useless design. Unfortunately, I had a business trip so I could only try this after the return window had closed, so it will go into the garbage bin.

Sfortunatamente Il termometro è arrivato rotto e non serve. Non possiamo valutare un prodotto così. Speriamo che possano sostituire.

Das Weinthermometer sieht mit seiner schwarzen Skala in der Metalleinfassung nobel aus. Hat so was wissenschaftlich akkurates! Der Temperaturfühler ragt auch tief in die Standardflasche hinein, nicht nur in den Flaschenhals. Aber: vielleicht habe ich ja ein Montagsthermometer erwischt, denn die Nadel bleibt hängen wenn ich es von einer höheren Temperatur (Raum, 20 Grad) in etwas kühleren Wein (16 Grad) bringe. Erst passiert nichts! Wenn ich es dann etwas bewege oder leicht auf den Thermometerkopf klopfe, fällt die Nadel ruckartig nach unten zur aktuellen Temperatur im Wein. Diese habe ich mit einem anderen (digitalen) Thermometer geprüft - sie ist korrekt. Daher betrachte ich das Thermometer als funktionstüchtig und sende es nicht zurück. Für den doch schon gehobeneren Preis hätte ich aber mit einem einwandfreien Thermometer gerechnet.

I love and hate this product. I love it when it works, but it's ridiculously fragile. the first one i owned, the glass cover fell out (in the drawer) after a week; i tried to glue it back with a drop of superglue, but this caused the glass to fog over, so that i couldn't read the gauge. I told the supplier about the glass falling out but they refused to replace it as i had glued it back. The second one (from a different supplier) i have had for a couple of months. i dropped it from a very modest height (a few centimetres) onto the table. Once again, the glass fell out, but this time the temperature is completely awry - recent hot weather (mid 20s) reads as 14 etc etc. A lovely and beautiful product, but just far too fragile, unfortunately.
