Honestly, I got these because the strings supplied with my guitar were really bad, and I knew that Willie Nelson used these. I was apprehensive to pay such a premium for strings because, as an electrical guitar player, decent strings cost a lot less.However, made the plunge, installed the strings (ball ends, so you need to check if your bridge can accommodate that), tuned up and fired away. Chalk and cheese to what was installed by the factory on my guitar. Lovely sound. And really well balanced across all the strings.They did take a long time to settle in i.e. retain tuning, compared with electric guitar strings, and even steel strings on my other acoustic. I’m not a new guitarist, but new to classical style guitars. I don’t know if these strings are better or worse for tuning stability compared with other nylon strings, but it was longer than I’m used to.But now that they’ve stabilised I’m delighted with them. I honestly don’t think I’d change brand - they sound exactly as I’d hoped they would. Just hoping they last :)Made me wonder how Willie’s guitar tech deals with this, on the assumption he has to put on a new set for every gig lol. I guess that’s why they’re professionals :) Anyhoo. Lovely strings, for me.

Davvero bellissime esteticamente: il nylon nero delle prime tre corde conferisce alla chitarra un look aggressivo! Non sono un grande intenditore, ma mi sembra restituiscano un buon volume ed un suono tipico da pop-folk. Per ora tengono l'accordatura abbastanza bene. Le consiglierei vivamente.

Pro Tip: On the high e strings, make a second knot by the ball end. This will keep the ball end from slipping through the thin knot that comes from the factory. It seems this is where most of the negative reviews come from. Great sounding strings for that old Willie sound and then stretch to tune faster than most nylons I’ve used.
