Lovely and effective. Good sized holes so the tea doesn’t seep through. Fits most tea cups and mugs. Best to take the little handle covers off before putting in the dishwasher. Nice that it has a lid too.

I recently purchased the La Cafetière Metal Tea Infuser with Lid and have mixed feelings about it. While it does its job well in infusing tea, I do think that it is overpriced for what it is. The design is simple and functional, but there is nothing particularly unique or outstanding about it that would justify the high price point.That being said, I do appreciate the addition of the lid, which helps to keep the tea hot while it is steeping. The metal construction also feels durable and of good quality. The size of the infuser is perfect for a single cup of tea, but might be a bit small for larger pots.Overall, while I do think the La Cafetière Metal Tea Infuser with Lid is a good product, I would hesitate to recommend it due to its high price. Tea in. Fill cup. Lid on to mast - then when you are ready the lid becomes a handy drip tray to stand it in. It makes tea a lovely little ritual. Love mine so much i bought this one for my mum and she loves it too.
