This product works okay. Two faults that each take off a star. First the mechanism as described in the assembly instructions does not match the product. I was able to figure out the proper assembly process. So, I would usually say "all is well the ends well." But for the second issue, the burr heats very quickly, which causes expansion in the burr. This slows down the grind rate , and the hot burr causes the coffee grounds to heat. Consequently, I have to let the grinder cool down after grinding enough for two cups before I can finish grinding enough coffee for the all the coffee drinkers in the house. So, would I buy it again? Maybe not, but I will use it, and I get pretty good coffee. Hope this helps you in your decision making process.

My husband loves coffee and traditional methods of working so I’m hoping this Christmas gift for him will be appreciated. It’s a beautiful item. Will update after use.

The product looks great, however, its when you put it together that you realise the flaws.When grinding it feels very fragile and has some play in the grinder meaning a very inconsistent blend.

It takes forever to grind the beans. Does the job but it’s a work out!

This would be a nice gift for a coffee connoisseur - it looks very good sitting on the side and it works as well.It's a manual coffee bean grinder and it can take some elbow grease to get those coffee beans ground down for use.Ground coffee is stored in a nice sealed compartment to keep it fresh under the grinder.Can adjust the grind grade as needed.Issue with if you put too many coffee beans in the cup for them is very shallow and they spill out so you have to try and keep it still whilst also giving it some welly as you grind hence loss of 1 star for this.Overall very nice though
