War Of The Buttons has always been one of my lifetime favourite movies, from when I first seen it over 25 years ago. I was reluctant at first to buy the original, as I was apprehensive that I would be disappointed, as I have only seen the Irish remake. However the apprehensive was for nothing, story is great, acting is great, and is even better than I thought. The Irish remake adds its own story, but this is the real deal. They are both very similar but very different movies. You will not be disappointed.

Contrary to the product advertising, it does not have English subtitles (or dubbing). (And by that, I mean it doesn't have closed captioning, either.) If you don't speak French, you won't understand a word of it. :-(
