The good part of all this is that the hammock stand seems very sturdy and well made. It was simple to assemble, no tools needed. The first time I tried to hang the hammock it was too wide. Adjusting it shorter was easy. You just have to be patient and line up the holes with the button. The connections seem a little wobbly at first but once there is weight in the hammock it is rigid enough. Minor niggle - the plastic feet rotate too easily. If you try to move the hammock stand and the surface is rough, they rotate easily and can slide off as well. No big deal to straighten them but I would have thought there would have been some better technique to keep them aligned.The negative is the fiasco I had to go through to get it delivered. It never showed up on the day it was out for delivery (USPS). Then at 6 pm, Amazon delivery status says "delivered. package was placed in a parcel locker" in another town. No other info. The tracking number didn't work on the USPS tracking site. The vendor says it was shipped by Amazon so they have no control over how it arrived. I waited three days and finally decided to ask my local postmaster if they could help.... And lo and behold, there it was at my local post office! But the box was shredded, parts falling out of both ends. The postmaster said it was shipped that way by Amazon and dropped off there. (I do wonder if it would have sat in their back room for months?) Amazon says, oh no, it was shipped by USPS. The old finger pointing game. I tried to complain to Amazon but that is a waste of my time and energy. The service agent even had the gall to ask me what I wanted him to tell me!! What I said is unprintable.Amazon Prime keeps going up in price and DOWN is service.Miraculously all the parts were still floating in the box. Although there are minor scuffs, I can't see going through the further fiascos of making a return that Amazon offered -- especially since I have no box!So, if you order this very nice 4½ star hammock stand, try to get it delivered by any service other than USPS.

Very happy with the product, it’s heavy, but that’s only a good thing in this case. Very sturdy, tested with +110kg with no promlems! 😀Very simple to setup or store, just a few clicks.I have used it with DD Frontline hammock (2,7m), fit perfectly and there is still one more ”notch” on both sides, if you happen to have longer hammock.Will recommend to anyone.
