This was a gift for my 1 year olds birthday. She is able to get on and off and rock it on her own. My almost 5 year old loves it too and it is plenty sturdy enough for her. My 8 year old has sat on it too with no ill effects so I would happily recommend this to anyone for children up to 4/5 years although it might be a little small physically it will certainly take the weight. It was straight forward to assemble, looks good and most importantly with a toy for a toddler; it's easy to wipe clean. That for me pegged this above any rockers with fabric coverings.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Schaukelpferd für den Preis. Meiner Tochter macht es Spaß darauf zu schaukeln. Sie ist knapp 20 Monate und das Pferd hat genau die richtige Größe. Wir haben das Schaukelpferd noch mit Mähne, Schweif und Sattel optimiert, so ist es ein wunderschönes Einzelstück.

It was my sons first bday coming up and my parents wanted to know what to get him. Since he loved to jump and climb and swing and rough house, I thought a traditional rocking horse would be perfect! Something to ride on and play with out necessarily needing me swinging him around myself, or assisting.We also have a 6 year old, and it seems anything we’ve gotten for baby, she’s also wanted to play with as something fun and new in the house. So I definitely wanted something sturdy that she could ride on as well. Even better to ride on together!This little horse is beautiful and I’ve been planning on using it as a prop in a photo shoots of Silas sometime soon! It was easy enough to assemble that his big sister actually did most all of the work herself! Which was fun and made her feel like she was doing something important and helpful for her baby brother.It’s been very sturdy, it holds her and the two of them just fine. It’s taken a little while for him to reach the base and feel confident enough to use it himself, but now 2 months past his first bday he’s able to do just that.We love this little horse, it’s well built, it’s heavy duty, the seats long enough for two kids, can fit a 1-6 year old just fine! AND it’s really striking in its design! PLUS the price is seriously hard to beat! I think it’s a way better but then the cheasy stuffed animal style. They are more expensive and don’t seem as sturdy or long lasting. Plus these are just like the old time ones, and I like that!
