This padded, zippered case is perfect for storing and securing your SanDisk SSD and associated USB cable. The case appears to be well-made and has an internal elastic strap that secures your SSD while a zippered, mesh pouch provides storage for the USB cable and anything else that may be required. You can attached the supplied lanyard and carabiner to the case, allowing for easily carrying the case on your belt loop. I really don't use the lanyard because the weight of the SSD and case adds a little too much weight to the belt loop on my pants. But it's nice to know that it is available if I find a reason to use it.I have one minor complaint, and it is NOT a show-stopper. The zippered mesh pouch is split horizontally in the middle by a zipper, which makes it difficult to get a cable in and out because the USB cable that comes with this type of SSD is usually very thick and short. You have to I sent part of the cable in the lower half then insert the other part in the upper half. I've used other padded cases where the zipper is towards the top of the mesh pouch, making it much easier to store away the cable.In summary, this case should secure and protect your SanDisk SSD and its cable. It can also be used with other brands of SSDs that have the general shape and size as the SanDisk, including some WD drives.Pros:a) Well-made and ample padding.b) Zippered, mesh pouch.c) Lanyard with carabiner.d) Can be used to carry other brands of SSDs.Cons:a) Zipper on mesh pouch should be located higher towards the top of the mesh, not the middle.

This is a nice storage or traveling case that can be used for a variety of things. I'm using it to carry my SanDisk Pro-Reader that I use for SD and micro SD cards (see photo).The larger section has an elastic strap to hold whatever you've placed in the case. There is a rubberized separator between that section and the other section which contains a zippered mesh storage area.Overall this is a handy case that can be used for a variety of things. it includes a strap with clip, also a larger clip, so there are various ways that it could be attached or secured if you want to carry it with a backpack for example.The materials used are satisfactory. Durability is something that will take some time to determine. If I find that there are any issues after I have used this for a longer period of time, then I will update this review to include that information.

Obviously, this fits the USB 4.0 version of SanDisk's external pro SSD. It's well made and the padding helps protect your SSD from the cables & zipper inside the top.What was unexpected was how well another SSD/HDD fits in place of the SanDisk SSD. I have an iodd enclosure with a 2.5inch SSD inside (though could easily be a 2.5inch HDD) that I've wanted to protect for a while now. On a whim I tried another HDD to learn it was just too wide and stubby - then I noticed my iodd and gave it a try. Near PERFECT fit. Now not only is the screen protected, but the buttons too!This is a great case for the SanDisk Pro SSD, don't get me wrong - Perfect fit. But now that I realize this is a near perfect fit for my iodd that's in more dire need of a protective case, that's what this will be put to use for.Thank you for making this product!

this case is really handy. I don't have this exact model sandisk that the case is made for, but I have a different model sandisk and also a samsung, both of them fit in here fine. I like how there is a pocket to hold all your cables inside, this case is really handy and is great for protecting your important data on your SSD's! I just throw it in my backpack and go.
