Brough these as a first set of walkers fro my boy as he has a wider foot. They fit perfectly and can be worn with our without socks. the sole is flexible enough for first walkers whist still providing protection for varying surfaces. Will be buying the next size up come summer.

I liked the look of this fastening and was keen to try but I did end up regretting and returning. They open wide to get the foot in easily but having two Velcro straps is quite annoying. As you pull one side the other side came off...and it was hard to get a secure fit. Problem when you spend too long fiddling with fastenings the small child becomes too interested and then wants to be involved and begins to join in with undoing/doing the straps (if you can imagine with me!) It is actually much better to have one secure fastening on the side that you can pull to secure. Get the shoes on quick and carry on so the child isn’t tempted to take them straight off! I’m talking about a 0-2year old. This wouldn’t be so much of an issue for an older child.These are also only good for dry summer days/months. The wet would soak through these.
