These heavyweight hinges are very stiff to operate.I hope they loosen off but I'm not holding my breath!Charged per hinge (not pair) but postage is per order, so 6 hinges cost 1 postage amount which isn't too expensive.

When purchased I believed that the hinges were a pair unfortunately only one was supplied which is impractical for the intended purpose ie ladders... one alone doesn't work ... maybe the supplier should emphasise that the items are sold singly and the purchaser is required to purchase two which makes them too expensive The one that I have received unfortunately will be returned because I am not able to use it

Despite the image of 2 hinges, the word "Hinges" in the title, and the phrase "Weight per piece" in the description this is ONE hinge.It seems to me to be deliberately misleading.I also have to question why none of the 25% of 1-star reviews are shown by Amazon
