I used these to seal our wedding invitations. Because I had to seal a lot of envelopes I could dedicate a new glue gun to the cause, which I would say is probably the only downside to this. Looked great, sealed well and had good color to it. Using the Glue Gun is easier for larger projects as you don't have to keep melting wax or lighting and blowing out candles.

These wax sticks are exactly as pictured. The blue is light and shimmery with a soft luster. It's not as shimmery as a full metallic wax (like gold or silver) but still has a really beautiful shine that keeps it from looking flat. The wax sticks are standard size and not mini-width, so many sure to check if your glue gun can fit them before buying. The wax itself melts well at low and high temp settings and sets well when stamped. It also marbles beautifully with other colors (I cut the sticks into quarters and alternated with a semi-opaque white to do so) without issue or wonky flow.10/10 beautiful wax. Looks perfect on letters!

The wax sealing stick is the right size and length, and it is very convenient to use in the glue gun. Wax out smoothly. Strong adhesion. Great for making cards and envelopes

As a stationery professional that uses sealing wax for wax seals often, I was disappointed with the quality of the Wine Red sealing wax. When I came across it on the seller’s page, I loved the shade of magenta it had and thought it was perfect for a recent design.Based on the photo provided by the seller, it shows that the sealing wax sticks will give you an opaque, magenta seal. Unfortunately that was not the case. The quality when pressed was almost see through as seen in my photos. The only way I made it work was to double seal the same seal with two layers of wax (see my second photo comparison). I had to scramble to find another color in order to make it work for the last few invites.

So while i have done wax stamps, traditional and not so traditional, my first use of this wax was not for stamps. Having used different colored waxes, i have enjoyed allowing the colrs to mix to get a nice marble type mix. It was from that that i decided to try and use the wax to help in another situation.I just finished a shelf rack that i decided at the last minute to add LED lights to the underside and to hide the power wire, i used my rotary tool to create a channel. I could have mixed some epoxy with color and attempted that, but the wood had been painted with 2 colors, red and a dark blue. I decided to try and mix the New Red Wine with a Black Wax i had to see if that would camouflage it enough. I figured if i goofed, the wax is a lot easier to remove than epoxy.First try and the results are great enough for me. I did take a knife, once the wax was cool and shave it down some and the picture is taken about 5 days after it was done. Honestly, i didn't know that would work, but sure glad it did and just may try mixing the Red Wine with the Bronze Wax i have, curious of the results
