Very happy with this fountain pen, recommended

Fine vulpen punt niet medium

Item is sold as new but small ink remains in the feed indicate that the pen has been used and cleaned later. The barrel also had 2 minor scratches and the section a large quite visible one.The pen arrived in a subpar ugly box which was crushed during shipping and it looked damaged. Not suitable as a gift box even with wrapping. This in contrast to (cheaper) Lamy pens I bought from dedicated pen stores online which came in a prettier and, more importantly, mint condition box.I'm giving this 3 stars as the pen itself writes properly and the supposed reassembly has been done decently.If I were to buy another Al-Star, I would buy it from a dedicated pen vendor and not from Amazon as I'm guaranteed a new and product from them.

Da poco mi sono avvicinato ai prodotti di Lamy, questa è la prima in alluminio che compro. Le precedenti , ho iniziato a collezionarle, erano tutte in plastica (credo che l’acronimo corretto sia ASA). Di pregevole fattura , ben levigata, con un pennino B che scorre senza alcun problema sulla carta di Rhodia, fin da subito mi è piaciuta. Ottima ed a un prezzo molto interessante

This is my first Lamy and i was really glad that I bought this one. It write smoothly on paper and it doesn’t create a broken lines even if I am writing fast on a paper. ❤️❤️❤️

A questo prezzo impossibile trovare di meglio

The pen is darker and more saturated than it appears in the picture. Perhaps the anodization is different batch to batch, and perhaps the picture on Amazon is a bit desaturated. The pen I received is royal blue and the one in the image to my eye is closer to baby blue or sky blue.

Appena ho aperto il pacchetto mi sono reso subito conto di che profondità fantastica ha il blu alluminio di questa stilo. Il colore così intenso non viene assolutamente reso dalle foto dell'articolo. Il nib B ha un tratto fantastico, grosso ma scorrevole (grosso come un M montegrappa).
