Excellente qualité de papier, très agréable pour écrire à la plume. Dommage qu'il ne semble pas exister chez Lamy des cahiers A4 avec la même qualité de papier et le même lignage.

Not very many pages for the price, in three modest Lamy notebooks per pack, but the pages have a nice 33x48 square 4mm/square grid for freehand engineering diagrams. The horizontal lines alternate between solid and dotted, while the vertical lines are all dotted. For Americans, A5 is not a standard size, but at about 5.75x8.25 inches and an eighth of an inch thick, each notebook is convenient to carry, requiring little space in your bag or briefcase. Each notebook has 32 two-sided pages. The 64 pages are unnumbered. The grids do not fill out each page, with about a two square margin on each edge. The grid is just under six squares per inch, covering 132x192mm on the page. The binding is soft enough to be compatible with a flat scanner. The paper feels substantial, suggesting archival quality. The grey cover makes a nice backdrop for close-up device photos. The look seems right, next to my Lamy Tri-pen. If you need to take just textual notes in meetings or classes, these are probably overkill by price, at about USD$0.12 per page, imported. For diagrams, they are just the ticket, or likewise if you want to seem like you have a hand-driven passion for details. If you tend to sketch on paper before resorting to other tools, these notebooks are a handy, portable, understatedly attractive option.
