Good quality amp. Especially at the price.The finish is very nice and smooth.Some amps have blue tooth advantage or other speaker specs. But if this fits your requirements with respect to usage, go for it in terms of quality of product. Tried both acoustic and nylon guitars satisfactoryly.

At this price point you expect entry-level kit. This is a quality amplifier that is smart-looking and fairly easy to carry. It's even made to be sat on.There is plenty of tone shaping and the FX are the ones you might use, reverb & chorus. The reverb is fine, although the chorus is nothing special.There are also features such as pre/post switch for DI out. This adds flexibility for recording or for hooking up to a PA system.There are differing accounts of the wattage. Watts can be very misleading. What we need is decibels, clarity & headroom. In our duo, in a room of 30 people the A-Duos are way below halfway on the volume settings but the sound is big, rich and very solid.In a room they do the business. Were we to play a medium sized hall or larger we could simply feed them into powered PA speakers.I also own a Marshall AS50D. That has a lovely chorus, but in every other sonic respect the Laney is in a different class. Both guitar and vocals are clearer.I have returned to this review to deduct a star. The controls are terribly fiddly. I thought I would get used to them but they get on my nerves. Without good lighting they are unusable. I never understood why a guitar amplifier that is intended for performance has its controls on the front anyway, but down the side they are very awkward.That aside, it's a fine amp for the money. I bought two because it's especially good for my duo partner's electro-harp.

I have a quiet voice so this is twice the output if my smaller Lainy.easy to transport, plug in and go.
