I am not a cello player, but I had to re-string my son's cello and it was nerve racking but I watched a video and put these strings on and the sound is great. The strings were not flimsy unlike the strings that were on the cello when I bought them which made it easier to string. They also have a colour guide on the string to help you re-string.
