First up - I have zero expectation that this is (and it certainly doesn't claim to be) a "formally proven" accuracy/class level.Now, *that* said, gauging the line it draws against a Stabila spirit level suggests its more than accurate for 99% of uses.I'm really, truly, impressed. The laser is very bright - we have been using it non-stop in bright daylight without any issue. The battery holds ample charge. The user-interface (a couple of buttons and a sliding lock) are all intuitive. The case isn't an afterthought - but a good quality, zipable carry box with foam dampening inside. Laser level comes complete with a strong magnetic mount, and a metal L bracket for situations that'd be useful.My _only_ two criticisms - and these really are minor given the price:- The laser has a few "blind spots" - where the (metal!) protective casing blocks the laser line itself. You can rotate the laser level to move these "blind spots" out of the way.- The included laser sighting thing (a green, reflective tool for matching heights across a distance) is - frankly - pathetic. I don't mean that unfairly - but it really is just a token gesture. Honestly, I'd prefer they didn't supply it - or bumped the price up £5 and included something more robust and accurate.As an alternative to the included "sighting thing", I've been using a tape measure - upon which the green laser shows up crisp and clear.10/10, absolutely would buy as a gift for someone - speaking as a serious DIY'er who's currently doing a complete refit of a bungalow. Short of you receiving a faulty shipment - you won't be disappointed.

This laser is a good laser. Easy to see and fairly inexpensive. It has a decent case. It worked very well for me when I installed a drop ceiling. I would buy this again.

My first laser level and I love it. The laser is bright, can reach across large areas and still be clearly visible. The unit itself is solid, feels premium, and the carrying / storage case is very nice as well with easy cutouts. The whole set feels just as premium, well thought out, and well built as anything you might expect to find from a big box brand. I just wish the power button wasn’t right there where your fingers go when you need to pull the unit out of the case - because I’ve turned it on by accident a few times and got a face full of laser.The instructions are straight forward and make it super easy to figure out how to self level or lock it into manual positioning.Feels like an excellent value.
