As someone who has been trying to make the switch to more eco-friendly products for years, I was so excited to come across this product. I go through1-2 cotton swabs a day, mostly for removing makeup and cleaning my ears. While I love the idea of having a reusable swab, this was not good enough to replace a cotton swab. The silicone is relatively soft but not good at effectively removing eye makeup and ear goop. I would estimate it works at ~20% effectiveness of a regular swab. Maybe it'll work for 20% of cases, but you'll still have to keep buying cotton swabs for most needs so to me, it wasn't worth the hassle of washing this everyday. On the other hand, reusable cotton makeup pads are great and an amazing replacement for the disposable cotton pads -- I expected this reusable swab to be similar but that was not the case.

Je l'ai acheté pour le mascara qui va sur la paupière et c'est top, j'en avait marre d'utiliser à chaque fois un coton pour ça.Par contre j'ai testé pour les oreilles et la c'est Non jamais.

Ich hatte mir sehr gewünscht, endlich von den Wattestäbchen wegzukommen, um nicht weiter unnötig Müll zu produzieren.Aber leider muss ich meinen Vorgänger*innen z.T. recht geben. Für das Beseitigen von Male Up Patzern eignet sich dieses Stäbchen leider nicht. Es verschmiert eher immer weiter. Ganz egal, welche Tricks ich auch versucht hab anzuwenden. Mit nasser Spitze, trocken, mit Creme oder Make Up Entferner. Es kann mit einem Wattestäbchen nicht mal ansatzweise mithalten.Gut, die Suche geht weiter…

Won’t change my product to something that’s better for the environment if it’s not better for me. Well this is even better for make up than a cotton bud & it’s so easy to clean! I love it!
