Only cowbell I've found that has a substantial grip for mounting that won't give up after continued use

Me encanta su sonido, pero es un cencerro grande, con un sonido potente y grave, no apto para todos los estilos. No puedo estar más contento

Most cowbells are mounted using a single screw that engages a knurled rod at a single point. In my experience (over fifty years of drumming), every cowbell that is mounted in this way shakes loose after several minutes of heavy playing. What drew me to this specific cowbell, is the integral mounting clamp, which wraps around the mounting rod, and is tightened by screws at two places (a wing screw & a screw that can be adjusted with a drum key). Additionally, there is a memory-lock (also tightened by two screws) that registers into the cowbell clamp, to further support the bell and prevent it from turning. After playing for many hours, this cowbell is still tightly mounted. There is no need to crank the wing screw with a pliers in hopes of keeping it tight. Finger tight is all that is necessary. I just with that every cowbell was available with this type of mounting clamp.

OK, even though you pay a few bucks to have Steve's signature in it, this is the clonker I wanted. No bright tings, but a hefty thonk I just love. The included mounts were a real plus...Never seen that before after all these years. LP is a top dog. No fools here. Just buy it and stop whining, you will be glad you did.
