Then I came upon this little marvel : a simple flat plate with built in receptacles for eggs to keep them separate from the water, and a second piece: a clear top (to monitor progress) with a vent (to prevent explosions).Here is why we love it:-It has a vent for steam to escape so no explosions in the microwave.-It cleans very easily. Just be sure to put a little butter or oil on the bottom and walls of the “hearts” before you add the eggs.-It is very fast. 3 minutes for 4 perfectly poached eggs.-It is easy to store (no larger than a dinner plate).We tried it the moment it arrived and were delighted by the results. Just greased it, added eggs and added water and right into the microwave. I can’t tell you how good it may be for fried eggs or omelets, but it is simply perfect for poached. And yes, they come out looking like hearts.You may need to experiment with the cooking time to get them the way you want them as it does not come with instructions. Also, make sure it will fit your microwave as it is 23cm in diameter. It was delivered very fast.

Provato subito per cuocere le uova. Ne ho messa una in ogni spazio rompendo leggermente il tuorlo. Cotte quattro minuti, sono venute molto buone, e con una forma a cuore che non guasta.
