Die Trommeleinheit ist sozusagen das Herzstück des Druckprozesses. Die Trommel hat die Aufgabe, den Toner, welcher über gesonderte Tonerkartuschen bereitgestellt wird, an den Stellen auf das Papier zu übertragen, wo der Druck erfolgen soll. Dies erfolgt durch statische Aufladung, Anhaftung des Toners, Abgabe des Toners an das Papier und Reinigung der Tonertrommel. Alles passiert in Sekundenschnelle, es handelt sich also um ein Präzisionsbauteil.Während es sich bei dem Turner um ein Verbrauchsmaterial handelt, handelt es sich hier um ein Verschleißteil, welches allerdings eine sehr lange Lebensdauer hat. So eine Trommeleinheit hält locker 30.000 Seiten. Dieser Hersteller spricht sogar von 45.000 Seiten.Da die Trommel bei uns aktuell noch nicht zum Wechsel fällig ist, habe ich diese zunächst nur zu Testzwecken eingesetzt und nur die Funktion überprüft. Anschließend wird diese wieder eingelagert, bis wir im Büro die Seitenzahl erreicht haben, so dass ein Wechsel fällig wird. Die Montage funktioniert reibungslos, nach dem entnehmen aus dem Drucker entriegelt man die Toner-Kartusche und schon kann man die Einheit austauschen. Für die Funktion ist es wichtig, die kurze Anleitung, die in deutscher Sprache beigelegt ist, zu beachten. Diese betrifft das Zurücksetzen der Trommel für die ausgewählte Farbe. Dieser Vorgang ist wichtig, damit der Drucker die Laufzeit der Trommel überwachen kann. Die Trommel wurde vom Gerät erkannt, die Montage war einfach, .....für unseren Büro Alltag sind wir mit dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr zufrieden.

I have a laser Brother printer, model DCP-L3520CDWE, and this compatible replacement drum unit fitted first time of trying. It comes with an instruction leaflet which gives details for resetting the drum unit counter (see photo). Resetting the counter at the correct time enables the printer to provide accurate information for when the drum unit needs replacing.The drum unit comes in a sealed plastic covering which will help keep it dust free and in excellent condition until it is needed.I am completely happy with my order and will buy another as and when it is needed.

Es una pieza que también se desgasta y hay que cambiar cada cierto tiempo.Impresión Inicial:El tambor viene bien protegido en su caja y bolsa sellada, como es habitual en estos consumibles. A simple vista, tiene el aspecto esperado, sin diferencias notables con otros tambores que haya podido usar. Construcción sólida y con las protecciones típicas para quitar antes de instalar.Experiencia de Uso:La instalación ha sido súper sencilla. Quitar el tambor viejo junto con los tóners que tuviera pinchados, sacar los tóners, ponerlos en este tambor LCL nuevo, y volver a meter todo el bloque en la impresora. ¡Sin misterios! Lo mejor de todo y la prueba de fuego: la impresora lo ha reconocido al instante y ha funcionado perfectamente desde el primer momento con los tóners (sean originales o compatibles) que ya tenía puestos. ¡Un alivio no tener que andar con mensajes de error o incompatibilidades raras! La calidad de impresión es buena, sin manchas ni problemas.Lo Bueno:Compatibilidad total: Ha funcionado a la perfección con los tóners que ya estaba utilizando en mi impresora Brother. Cero mensajes de error, cero problemas. ¡Plug and play!Instalación fácil: Quitar y poner, sin complicaciones. This drum unit comes in retail packaging and inside you’ll find the drum and instructions on how to reset the drum counter.The drum comes sealed inside a plastic pouch to keep it free from dust and contaminants. It is the same size and shape of the original and fits my printer perfectly. My old toner cartridge fit inside with no issues and everything performs the way it did before I changed the drum unit for this one. There is a paper sheet included which gives instructions on how to reset the drum counter as this needs to be done every time you change a drum so it can give a good indication on when to change the drum. It was a simple process and was done in a few seconds.I thought it was reasonably priced, and it works exactly as it should for a cheaper price than an original…
