I really like the weight of this dragon (5 pounds). The majority of the weight is located in the body and part of the tail. I prefer it all in the body section when it is being used. The outside material is super soft and great for those who like to cuddle. It's large size makes it easily squeezable without straining to much to get that nice deep pressure touch often associated with a hug. My only issue is it is large which makes it harder for me to store when not in use, but that is a very minor issue as its size also has benefits to it.

I bought this for my autistic daughter. She loves dragons as soon as she got it she hugged it and was so excited. It is a good weight for anxiety. And super soft.

After searching for the perfect weighted animal to use in my therapy practice, I have found the one I have been waiting for. I purchased a few others and they don't compare to the softness, size, and weight that this one offers. I work with children and adolescents, many of which are processing trauma......and this is the perfect companion to sit on a lap or be snuggled with when working on hard stuff. I almost didn't bring him into the office as I wanted to keep him at home for my family. Guess I will buying another one!!

He is wonderful. I purchased the dragon for one of my students with autism for him to have in our sensory room at church. He loves the dragon. It was a good size and weight.

The plush seems to be well made and is very soft. My partner couldn't be happier.
