I buy foods in bulk, and always put some away in our SHTF stash. When buying 5-gallon buckets for storage, you should know that if they are HDPE and white in color, they are most likely food grade, even if they are not sold as such.Recently, my local Walmart had white HDPE 5-gallon buckets in the paint department for less than $3 each. Score & stock up!!!! When I found these lids that fit the buckets I was extremely happy. These lids fit very tightly, yet are relatively easy to remove.Since I use oxygen absorbers in my long-term storage of food items, I placed a piece of heavy clear cling wrap over the bucket before putting the lid on. No sense wasting an oxygen absorber if you don't know if the lid is airtight.Any time you can get a lidded 5-gallon bucket, food grade bucket for less than $7, you have found a bargain. They usually aren't that cheap even if you buy a large quantity direct from a manufacturer.

This advertizes a "Pack of 10" when in fact it is one stupid lid for more than double the price I can get one at a local Lowes...Do not buy this.

Good cover for an old 5 gallon bucket. Let me consolidate a half dozen half full paint cans into one bucket. Price was reasonable.

Good product. Does what it is supposed to do very well. Couldn't ask for much more. Happy with my purchase
