This is a really good learning resource, my daughter loves it. It is all about understanding feelings and friendships. It comes with three books and a little battery operated pointing device, it takes 2xAAA batteries, which are not supplied. The first thing you have to do is install the batteries, so you need a screwdriver on hand to open the battery compartment.Once installed the idea is that you get presented with statements such as match the feelings to the face with a keyword such as silly. You have to then touch the right dot, if you get it right the device glows green and makes a sound but if it is wrong it glows red and makes a different sound. The three books are Dealing with Feelings, Building Character and Growing Friendships. You can also mute the pen with a button on the side.The device is nice and chunky for little hands and the light is pretty noticeable, also the sound is of a decent volume but not too loud to be annoying. The quality of the books is good, they are made from shiny card and the dots are responsive and as soon as you place the device on the dot it reacts.All the images are nicely drawn and it is clear what each one is, not an easy skill when you have no words to portray something. They are bright and nicely drawn.I think this is a really good learning tool for little ones, plus it is a lot of fun, my daughter loves pressing the dots and finding the correct answer.
