A lovely set for introducing toddlers/ helping pre-schoolers with numbers, colours and letters. My son is 2 and loves exploring and sorting the cards and figures.The cards are just the right size for smaller hands to easily grip and pick up, they’re bright, colourful and tactile too which helps keep their attention. Despite being made from cardboard they still feel fairly robust and should stand the test of time being handled by small hands.Included in the set are 5 figures, numbers 1-5, 26 double sided alphabet cards, 5 number and colour cards and a helpful activity guide.The price is £18.75 at the time of review, which I think is possibly quite expensive, possibly more suited to being a couple of £s cheaper.

After recently testing some rather uninspiring items from 'Learning Resources', it's good to find a product that actually lives up to the brand's reputation, and with the quality everyone would expect from the contents within the set. This "First Skills Activity Set" for ages 2+ is a worthy addition to the Learning Resources catalogue of educational toys for preschool children, and despite being a little overpriced (as usual), the set does have a fair amount of replay value. With a total of 41 pieces, there's plenty of fun to be had with the activities, although the small plastic 'Counting Kids' will undoubtedly become the favourite pieces from the set.

Set include 41 pieces - plastic numbers , cards with letters and numbers, 5 kids characters.This set is a great for introducing numbers and letters alongside with colours.Cards fit perfectly in a small hands. All cards and plastic numbers and kids characters are bright and colourful.There’s no small parts so it’s safe for young users.My 2 years old is very happy to use it and encourage her to learn colours and numbers easily while playing.I am more than happy to recommend.Great purchase!

This item is a fun way to help your toddler learn, letters, colours and shapes with a card like game that you can play time and again with all members of the family. Its easy to do, fun to play and has bright colours. The only thing I would say is don't leave it with your toddler on their own as the odds are they will end up in mouths which will greatly reduce the durability. All round its a great item and as such is something that I feel is a great way to help which also including fun. Magic.
